This is  "Sahmura" from Jon Yosoff's Elegant Tatting Gems. It is made in Lizabeth size 80 color #163 Blue Ice. About 1 1/2" wide. My first snowflake of the season.

This is the 10th Day of December snowflake from 24 Snowflakes in Tatting by Lene Bjorn.

Motif # 1 & 2 - Snowflakes

This is Snowflake 8 from Festive Snowflakes & Ornaments edited by Barbara Foster. It is done is size 80 white thread. The little Santa ornament behind it is about an 1" tall to give you an idea of how small it is. If you have the book, it is a cover snowflake and it is a tiny tad bigger than the size it is on the cover.

This is the Eighth Day of December also from 24 Snowflakes in Tatting. I used white size 20 for the rings and Lizabeth 143, Royal Wave for the chains. I'm not thrilled with how it turned out. I've never done block tatting before so I did learn something, even though the color isn't what I had envisioned.
